Legacy systems

Old systems the business runs on – kept alive, developed further or replaced in an orderly way.

Many companies have older systems they would like to keep alive – indefinitely or for a while. We are experts at getting to grips with them and running them.

An old system can be good business

It is easily forgotten: a system where every bug has been found and fixed, and which supports the business in many areas, is worth a lot. There is often a pretty good business case for keeping it alive. With a little adjustment or new development, it can go on creating value.

Or a gradual replacement

If the system has to be replaced, it doesn't have to happen all at once. We can replace it bit by bit, in a gradual process, while we keep the old one alive.

We use the experience from running the old system to specify and build its successor. That way you get double the value out of the maintenance.

Start with an analysis

An analysis of your legacy system costs €800 excl. VAT. It gives you the basis for choosing between keeping the system alive, developing it further or replacing it.
